Empire Of The Sun , est un groupe Australien crée en 2007 dont le nom est tiré du film ''L'empire du Soleil levant''.Il est composé de Luke Steel (The Sleepy Jackson) et Nick Littlemore (PNAU) qui sont deux DJ's et chanteurs.Luke Steele est trés reconnu pour sa magnifique voix montant aisément dans les aigus.
Leur premier titre original est «Walking on the Sun» tourné en Chine et remixé par Van She et Sam La More, le duo pop-électro australien enchaîne avec un nouveau single, titré « We Are The People » qui est le deuxième extrait généré par le premier album de Empire Of The Sun, « Walking On A Dream », disponible depuis le 4 octobre en Australie.Ce titre original a également fait l'objet d'une illustration vidéo, Luke Steele et Nick Littlemore se sont rendus à Mexico, aux Etats-Unis, pour tourner le clip de « We Are The People ».
